In the Gas Electronics research Group we are involved in a complex experimental and theoretical investigation of molecular plasmas and their mixtures. Our research interests include plasma-based technologies related to environmental issues (cold sterilization of medical devices, removal of nitrogen oxides (NOx) from flue and exhaust gases, etc.), material processing, atmospheric entry of spacecrafts, study of the physical-chemical processes in planetary atmospheres, as well as fundamental research.
